I just downloaded the community edition of Spire.PDF and to my surprise found that my download was a msi installation file. This is not going to work in my case. I'm creating a "portable" application that does not access the registry and can be deployed using a simple copy-and-paste directory (zipfile) method.

Can I download just the DLL's that I can link to directly or is installation absolutely a necessity?

Can Spire.net be used in a portable app at all?
