I have identified an issue rendering this word doc to PDF. It contains 2 equations that were created with Equation Editor 3.0. When rendering to PDF, the mu symbol is not rendering. It is showing as a box. We have made sure that symbol font is included. I can see other symbols rendering correctly, but these symbols in the equation don't seem to render.

Thanks for your inquiry. I have reviewed your Word document, but when viewing it in MS Word, the 'mu' symbol also did not display successfully, as shown in the screenshot below. What is the correct effect at your end? And which Word version you are using? Looking forward to your further feedback.

Hello,
I am attaching a screenshot of what the output should look like. The version of Microsoft Word is 97-2003. The actual equations themselves seem to come from a software called Equation Editor 3.0.

Thank you for your feedback. After installing the MathType plugin in Microsoft Word for updates, formulas can be displayed normally in MS Word. The attachment is the updated Word document. After converting this updated file to PDF, I have also reproduced the issue you mentioned about the 'μ' symbol not displaying properly. This issue has been logged in our bug tracking system under the number SPIREDOC-10842. Our Dev team will investigate it further, once there is any update, we will let you know.
