Problem with deployed version

I am using the conversion plugin to create a PDF file from a complex html/css/javascript based page.

If works fine on my development machine, however, as soon as I push it over to any of my test env (dev or qa) the file comes out as raw html (non-processed). I also get a 'Access is denied' exception thrown.

Any idea?
