Hello, I'm reviewing the product before purchase and would like to know two things: 1. is it possible to mark and copy text from viewed documents ? 2. how can i jump to, or go to a specific page immediately after the document was loaded ?
Thanks for your inquiry. Regarding issue #1: Sorry, our Spire.DocViewer does not support the features you mentioned. Regarding issue #2: After testing, I found that this feature is not effective. I have recorded it in our tracking system with the ticket SPIREDOCVIEWER-113. Our deve team will further investigate and fix it, and I will notify you promptly after the fix.
Generally, PDF viewing programs provide for markings and text copying from the viewed documents. In addition to this feature, you can easily select text either with your mouse or keyboard and paste it to your clipboard to reuse it. It is a core task of paraphrasing when the author needs to get data from documents or use some illustrations.
The PDF viewer has the option of clicking to a given page when document loading is finished as expected. In ordinary course, you just need to put the desired page number into a respective field or use a special key combination to jump straight to the page you need. This purpose improves user experience by giving easy moves through the documents which a high in length
Thanks for your message. Our Spire.Pdfviewer support select and copy text from pdf file currently, but Spire.Docviwer don't support. In addition, our Dev team will fix the issue of "go to a specific page" for Spire.Docviewer.
