open ppt as readonly

I trying to use ppt.savetofile(filename,ppt),but once the previous version of filename.ppt is open,I cannot save it. is any way I can still open it as readonly?

Thanks for your inquiry.
Do you want the file named “filename”to remain open in MS PowerPoint or other tools when calling saveToFile("fileName",ppt)? If so, sorry to tell you that our Spire.Presetation cannot do this. It is recommended that you save the file with another name or change the file path.
