Problem:
When cloning a slide, if the slide has a `graphic` shape, then SPIRE changes this shape to an `image` shape, after the cloning has finished. This is a problem because the graphic shape type can be edited (fill, outline) and an image cannot.

Solution:
Shape type should persist after cloning a slide. It should not change.

Are there any workarounds for us whilst we wait for this issue to be resolved?

Is there a function to convert the graphic shape to a standard shape maybe? this would be a good interim solution.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.
Using your attached PPT document, I was able to reproduce the issue. This issue has been logged in our bug tracking system under the number SPIREPPT-2582. Our Dev team will investigate it further, once there is any update, we will let you know. Meanwhile, I found that the shape format will not change when directly copying the slides.

Sincerely,
Amin
