Cancel BarcodeScanner.Scan

Hello

We use BarcodeScanner.Scan method to scan Images from PDF-Pages for QR-Codes.
Sometimes if the image is in a bad quality with a lot of grey pixels, the BarcodeScanner.Scan method needs very long to scan the image (1 hour).
Is it possible to set a timeout for the BarcodeScanner.Scan method or to cancel the BarcodeScanner.Scan method?

Normally, our BarcodeScanner.Scan method does not take too long to scan barcodes.
